Girardi reunites Stewart with his personal pitcher!

  2. Phil C says:

Bad location = Bourne triple, then a run. Other than that CC looked good in 1st.

  3. Phil C says:

Hitters not making it easy for CC. No hits through 4 innings.

  4. Phil C says:

Minor’s first mistake. A Rod leads off the 5th with a single.

  5. Professor Longnose says:

Looks like Sabathia is in the groove.

    • Phil C says:

He’s been rather sharp and shown once again his ability to bear down when needed. Held Braves to 1 for 7 w/RISP.

  6. smurfy says:

Jeter ranges and dives – and comes up wit’ it!

  7. Phil C says:

    Mets are helping out tonight!

  8. Phil C says:

Yankee catchers have half their hits tonight.

  9. Phil C says:

I know it’s a low pitch count for CC, but I wonder if we’ll see Robertson tonight, even for the 9th. He needs more work.

  10. smurfy says:

    Robinson dancing nicely.

    • Phil C says:

He really has a knack for making it look like he doesn’t care what he’s doing.

      • smurfy says:

hunh, looky there, i got it, may as well flip it over to Tex, he looks like he wants it.

At bat, he usually drops it deliberately when he knows he hit it out. This time, he was scampering – wasn’t quite sure.

  11. Phil C says:

Into Monument Park. I wonder if that’s as close as Robbie gets.

  12. Phil C says:

I think CC made a statement tonight!!

  13. Phil C says:

10 straight wins against clubs with winning records. Yanks never did that before.
