another long ball

….we need the one we that we already have to get his act together. No excuses for Kuroda today.  He’s facing the American League’s worst offense, in a pitcher’s ballpark, against a team that has lost 8 of its last 11 games. The Yankee lineup won’t have an easy task, they’ll be facing Tommy Malone (acquired from the Nats in the Gio Gonzalez deal) who’s been outstanding for the A’s this year. But Kuroda needs to do his part, if he can’t shut down the A’s it’s hard to imagine who he can. The Yanks are on a roll, having won 5 of 6 and their long dormant offense appears to be hitting their collective stride.

Here’s your lineup, courtesy of Yankee PR:

Game starts at 4:00 televised on YES. GO YANKS!!!!!

I was just checking out the box score on GameDay….the Yanks are 1 for 10 w/RISP through the first 3 innings? That is ridiculous!

Roy Halladay exits game with sore shoulder. There was speculation Cole Hamels could be made available midseason as it is, if Halladay goes down it will make even more sense. I don’t see them signing him, and they’re in last place with a maxed out payroll and a weak farm system.

Through seven it’s still OK Hiroki!
