7 Responses to TYA Award Predictions: Rookie of the Year

  1. Reggie C. says:

Matt Moore and Yonder Alonso are probably the safest picks of the lot.

  2. Paco Dooley says:

Fans of the NYY are going to be thrilled to see Montero on so many lists. If he wins ROY and Pineda doesn’t win the CYA they will have a fit (and Pineda will not win the CYA)

  3. Mark Finke says:

If Montero wins ROTY and Pineda doesn’t win the YA but starts Game 2 of the World Series nobody in NY or anywhere has a problem with that.
I saw Domenic pick Mike Trout. Is he still Rookie-eligable?

  4. I think Montero will definitely put up ROY worthy numbers this year, but there’s already a narrative around Moore which will give him an edge.

  5. Plank says:

Have there been any reports of how Cespedes has looked so far? I haven’t heard much.
