Writers Wanted!
As you well know, both Moshe and Larry took advantage of a great opportunity and are now writing at the ever-awesome River Ave Blues. Before I go any further, I just want to take a second to publicly thank Moshe and Larry for doing a wonderful job with TYA for the last ten months. They were great to work for and are outstanding writers. I look forward to reading their work going forward. As for TYA, that leaves us with a bit of a hole. We’ve still got a strong stable of writers who do amazing work here, and that will continue. That doesn’t mean, though, that we wouldn’t like to add to the TYA family. There are plenty of spots open, including Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and just about all weekend spots. Of course, other time slots could be opened as well.
What are we looking for? If you’ve read the blog (obviously you have), you know that we’re looking for someone who not only has a command of advanced analysis, but who has command of writing and critical thinking skills. If you’re interested, and I hope you are, please send me an email at TYAMattImbrogno @ gmail . com. Please include two writing samples and any links to work you’ve published online in the past. Good luck and I look forward to reading your submissions!

- Most poker sites open to US players also provide online casinos accepting USA players. A good example of this is BetOnline.com, where you can play 3D casino games, bet on sports or play poker from anywhere in the United States.

I’ve always thought it would be amazing to be able to write for a Yankee site. I just lack the experience and come january, I will lack the time with school starting up. I look forward to seeing the new writers and reading their posts.
Experience on a blog is not necessarily essential, I’m sure you could send in other writing. We’re looking for passionate fans who are good writers and can take an analytical (as opposed to just emotional) look at the team. As for the time commitment, it’s definitely manageable while you’re in school or if you have a job.
Man, this is a dream of mine!
Good luck! Blogging can be very rewarding and really enhance your appreciation of the game if you do your homework.
BTW-A word of advice. Matt’s an English major, so don’t forget the proper grammar uses for who, whose, whom and who’s.
I’m an ex-NYY blogger that would love to but, honestly, I’d need to discuss the opportunity before considering the application.
I’ll send you an email, Matt.
