Exciting changes abound
I’m incredibly pleased to announce that Matt Imbrogno has been promoted to Editor in Chief of The Yankee Analysts, effective immediately. Matt is one of the best and most passionate writers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I’m extremely excited that TYA will be stewarded by one of the most important voices writing about the Yankees today.
As some of you may have heard by now, Moshe Mandel and I are leaving TYA and joining Mike, Joe, Ben and the gang to write full-time at River Ave. Blues. We will be making our RAB debuts this week.
While we look forward to the next step in our excellent blogging adventures, we’re just as excited to watch TYA continue to grow, as the entire staff will continue to churn out the incredible content you’ve come to know and love and can’t find anywhere else.
These last nine months helping to build TYA into one of the better-known and respected brands in the Yankee blogosphere have been incredibly gratifying. I’d like to thank each and every one of you who have made TYA a regular part of your day — I know you’ll continue to do so — and I look forward to bantering with you over at RAB.

Congrats to Matt, Moe, and you Larry (almost sounds like congratulating the 3 stooges when I put it like that) wish nothing but continued success for all of you.
I have never actually checked out RAB, though I may have to take time out of my TYA time to check it out now.
Once again congrats to all, and I know TYA will continue to be in good hands.
I’m probably going to post some thoughts later in the week about leaving and all that, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the readers for sticking with us through the years and making this a great place to talk baseball.
TYA’s in great hands with Matt at the helm, and we intend to keep the same quality of writing and discourse going. The site certainly wouldn’t be what it is today without Moshe and Larry, and we are truly thankful for all their hard work and great writing.
TO echo Eric, I just want to express my complete confidence in Matt. I have no doubt that TYA will remain a great place for Yankee blogging and discussion under his leadership.
Congratulations guys, can’t wait to read you over at RAB. As for TYA, Matt is one of my favorite writers, he deserves this chance and I can see him expanding a great community.
We’re going to make TYA better than ever now that the dead weight is gone :) In all seriousness, Moshe and Larry are fantastic bloggers, and we’re all very excited to see them on an ever-bigger stage.
I’m actually a frequent visitor of both TYA and RAB. Wish you a great time there and hopefully TYA will continue what’s been achieved. :)
Congratulations guys, I don’t post much, but read regularly since I found this site a few months ago. This one and Rab are my two favorites
Congrats to Matt on his new duties and to Larry and Mo on the new roles at RAB.
TYA was, and will remain, my primary blogging destination (although my commenting is infrequent, due to work and a waning interest in baseball between the end of the NYY playoff run and Opening Day) but I will definitely read Mo/Larry’s work at RAB.
RAB ain’t my cup of tea — commenters there are incredibly rude and the inside jokes/snark takes away from the joy of communicating directly with other fans — but it’s a fantastic site for information.
Good luck, all!
