Reminder | YANKEEOGRAPHY DVD Father’s Day Giveaway Contest
If you haven’t entered our Yankeeography Father’s Day giveaway contest yet, there’s still time.
TYA has a few sets of “Yankeeography: The Core Four Collection” DVDs to give away just in time for Father’s Day. Instead of boring-old trivia, in order to win this free DVD set you’ll need to do a little extra legwork.
We just launched The Yankee Analysts Fan Page on Facebook, and we need your help in getting as many people to “Like” the page as possible.
Here’s how to win the DVD:
1) Click here and “Like” the TYA fan page.
2) E-mail us at TheYankeeAnalysts at gmail dot com to let us know you’ve entered the contest.
3) Get as many of your Facebook friends as you can to “Like” the TYA fan page.
4) Whoever gets the most Facebook friends to “Like” the TYA page wins!
5) The contest closes the Friday before Father’s Day, June 17.
Please note, the only way we can tally the number of people you convinced to “Like” our page is by also “liking” the page yourself and letting us know who you are, so we can then cross-check the “Likes” against your list of friends. If multiple people are friends with the same person and that person “Likes” the page, everyone who enters will get a point for that person.
So what are you waiting for? Go on over to The Yankee Analysts’ Facebook fan page and start getting your friends to “Like” it now!
Below is a description of the DVD:
In a series of small roster moves during the 1995 season, the Yankees laid four cornerstones for the Club’s success over the next two decades. Starting in April and concluding in September, the Bronx welcomed the Major League debuts of Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, and Jorge Posada.
As teammates they’ve won double-digit division titles, many pennants, and a fistfull of World Series rings. As individuals they continue to climb baseball’s Mount Olympus.
YANKEEOGRAPHY: THE CORE FOUR COLLECTION is a celebration of a quartet of Bronx Bombers for the ages — friends, champions, and baseball heroes to a generation of Yankees fans.
ANDY PETTITTE: Most Postseason wins in Major League Baseball History; More than 200 Yankees Victories
MARIANO RIVERA: All-Time Yankees leader in saves and games pitched; Most postseason saves in Major League Baseball history
DEREK JETER: Seven 200-hit seasons, most hits in a Yankee career; Most Postseason hits, runs, and games in MLB History
JORGE POSADA: Five Silver Slugger Awards; More than 250 Home Runs
Four personifications of pinstripe-ideals who have crafted an unprecedented record of longevity and success.
DISC 1: Derek Jeter / Mariano Rivera
DISC 2: Jorge Posada / Andy Pettitte
