TYA Fantasy Baseball:Open Thread

Do you live only to get radical? Are you an adrenaline junkie?
Alright ladies, bros and broheims, we’re all set up for TYA fantasy baseball. I have a long tradition of naming all my fantasy teams after Point Break characters and/or plot elements. So if you’ve ever been bested by Bodhi’s Bandits or smoked by Utah’s Heroes, it was definitely me providing the beat down.
In reality I’m a terrible fantasy sports competitor so if you want to feel good about yourself and notch another victory, this is the league to join! Here’s the info:

If we need to create another league we’ll do that no problem. There are an infinite number of great Point Break elements to mine (The Pappis Police?) I used some non-traditional fantasy categories so be on the lookout for that as well, s**t’s gonna get wild. I encourage you to bring all the foul language, trash talking, mean spirited insults and disturbing competitiveness you can possibly muster to this thing.

- Most poker sites open to US players also provide online casinos accepting USA players. A good example of this is BetOnline.com, where you can play 3D casino games, bet on sports or play poker from anywhere in the United States.

I’m in as “wOBA is me.”
You would be.
big fan of the blog, stoked to play with y’all
Excellent, excellent
No quiz tonight?!?!?
Nope, sorry!
Drat–I love those….It’s like exploring something new and finding a piece of history….Like yesterday’s quiz where I learned about the first NL MVP. Fun stuff.
Haha who is Blame Cashman? I was going to go with Sabathia’s opt out clause but it was too long, so I went with a name everyone will hate but I hate to do it because… IT’S T-SHIRT TIME! Don’t judge me that show is hilarious! HAHA
Alright, it all counts. Lets just say this now, you’re all gonna lose.
Alex is on one hell of a power surge in ST, I just hope he isn’t wasting bullets he will need during the season, though no one knows for sure what Spring Training really means in terms of production or lack and correlation to the regular season. Either way we all know what Alex is for this team when he is the big bat in this order, if he has a bounce back year last year (35 HRs, .370+ OBP, .520+ SLG) this lineup could really be scary, because in truth we have never seen Robbie and Alex live up to the best of their talents in the same year. When Alex was winning MVP’s Cano wasnt in the lineup or wasn’t a middle of the order guy, last year Alex was only producing like he is capable of in tiny spurts here and there because of his hip, whether they admit it or not. Another great season from Cano with even a respectable bounce back for Alex and Teixeira is a nasty 3-5.
Will there be enough interest for a 2nd league? Just tried to sign up but said league is full…haven’t played in years, was looking forward to it
Yes, one of us will set up another league this week and we will post about it.
