   Wow, Jorge Posada's stats are not great for the postseason. That's strange. Perhaps he grows tired by the end of the season?

   In other news, Mariano Rivera is incredible.

   Heh, it surprised me initially as well. The more I think about it though, the more sense it makes. Here are some possible explanations:

   1) He may be recovering from lingering injury
   2) He may be fatigued
   3) He's presumably facing better pitching
   4) AB sample sizes are significantly smaller

   "Mariano Rivera is incredible." Yes. Yes, he is.

   it's been such a privilege to watch these guys. I hope they can muster some new miracles.
   Anytime we go against Texas, I can't help thinking about how hot Bernie got a couple of times in the ALDS against the teams with Juan Gone and I-Rod. That was mythic.

   Mo should actually have an even lower WHIP, as one of the hits he gave up was the one that Golson caught but was ruled a trap.
