Sometimes fate intervenes. Throughout my time in Michigan Josh and I have been debating how many of the games to attend. We’d settled on three, planing on missing Tuesday’s game. Then, it was rained out. Then, a day-night doubleheader was announced.
Without hesitation Josh and I agreed that we would attend both games today. We’ve had tickets to see game 4 since before the season began. Meaning, for the first time ever, I will attend an entire series.
We then had this exchange:
Josh: You know, since the games tonight will end around midnight and we have to be back in Detroit for a day game Thursday, we should maybe spend the night.
Me: In the Casino?
Josh: That’s really the only place.
Me: I am doing this even if I leave without you.
And I’m taking notes.
