I recently visited Yankee Stadium and took some pix of the old facility, and some of the changing surrounding area. I took pix of the old building from 3 different angles, from the new stadium’s promenade, from the elevated Subway station across the street and some more from the elevated walkway that connects people to the parking areas behind the old building. There are all sorts of new parks that are popping up in the surrounding areas, plus an eye-popping new price to park your car. To see all 16 photos check out the slideshow.

One Response to Old Yankee Stadium Update

Loved these photos, although they’re a bit sad. Our Texas Rangers are playing the Yankees in the ALCS (as I’m sure you know) and I’m fascinated with all things Yankees. I was originally looking for a virtual tour of the old park.
