Here’s our latest roundup of where the Yankees’ offense stands, this time after 12 games:
Posada continues to lead all regulars, while Jeter has jumped up from a .315 wOBA a week ago to .446. A-Rod also had a nice week, leaping from .322 to a much more A-Rod-like .406.
Unsurprisingly, Nick Swisher has seen the biggest decline, falling from .440 to .330. And Big Tex still has some work to do.

This has been a great series – looking forward to it taking shape as the season progresses. Our star players should ascend to the top as the small sample size grows each week…
Love the 9-3 Start. I know you can never expect the whole team to be firing on all cylinders at once, but we could easily be 11-1 If HR Javy was in form…even with 2 or 3 of our big bats still hibernating from the winter. This is going to a be a year for record breaking and I am thrilled it is underway…

Given the minor roster turn over and what we've seen so far, penciling in a 100+ win season feels like a given. But i feel like i'm getting spoiled early – then again, the May schedule looks a little lighter than the April one!
Actually I'm not so sure May is quite the cakewalk we might think — I see five games vs. BOS, four vs. DET and six vs. MIN; all potential playoff foes.
Things would appear to get somewhat easier starting in June.
