3 Responses to Afternoon Bits: A-Rod, ALCS, Rivera

  1. It’s not all on him as in years post but Alex Rodriguez is definitely the key, if he has a big ALCS the Yankees win if he disappears from the line up and pulls another 1-13 then the Yankees will certainly not advance. I believe as I have believed that Alex will have a monster post season all the way around and should show up ready to do work, once he got those first two hits I think it turned his mind set around for good (at least for this post season) and he will be locked in and not nervous the rest of the way. Should be interesting to see what the outcome is for Alex.

    • Chris H. says:

If he performs well tonight, then I think the Angels should throw in the towel early. A-Rod has awful numbers against Lackey and a clutch RBI or 2 in Game 1 would put everyone on notice.

      • I think he is going to put all of baseball on notice… He has been putting up monster numbers since he has come back, every month since the first month he was back every stat has gone up by month, he is just now reaching his peak potential for the year. Should be a good series.
