This is not a Yankee-related story, but I thought it was worthy of posting nonetheless.  Angel Villalona, a 19 year-old 3b prospect for the San Francisco Giants, is the main suspect in the killing of a 25 year-old man in the Dominican Republic last night.  If convicted, Villalona could serve up to 20 years in prison.  Villalona, who has been a top 100 prospect for the last few seasons after receiving a 2.1 million dollar bounus at age 16, could be kissing a promising career goodbye if he is in fact found guilty.  This is a very sad story to hear happening to anyone, much less a promising young athlete.  You would hope that a wealthy young man would have personal security and good advice to prevent situations such as this one.

That’s all I have tonight.  Enjoy the Giants-Cowboys game, and L’Shana Tova.

Damn, he’s one of the top guys in their system.

A Yankee equivalent would be someone like A-Jax or Sanchez. Very unfortunate, if true.
