  • Jose Pirela was 3 for 5, raising his average to .314.
  • Melky Mesa was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks.  He stole his 10th base, and was also caught once.
  • Corban Joseph was 2 for 3 with 2 walks.
  • Taylor Grote was 1 for 4 with a walk.
  • Abe Almonte was 3 for 4 with a triple and a sac bunt.
  • Garrison Lassiter was 3 for 4 with a walk, raising his average to .299.

      I was under the impression that he would be back mid-August. Do not recall where I saw it.

        From what I can recall, he has started throwing again, but I don’t think they really expect much out of him on the season.
