Antz divx With today being a holiday, I wanted to take some time away from the wins and losses, players under and over performing, all the serious baseball analysis and just have a little fun.
How about some Yankee marketing ideas? Lord knows there’s plenty of advertising surrounding the team as it is, so lets dream up some product placement and advertising of our own. Ones that have zero chance of ever being approved by the Yankee brass. Something like this:

DysFunktional Family ipod -Have Mariano Rivera’s entrance sponsored by Modells, and have him enter the field to the theme song “Gotta go to Mo’s”
-Have Nick Swisher’s home runs sponsored by Bounty Paper Towels, with a John Sterling call of “It is high, it is far, its is gone! The Swisher Picker Upper!”
-All Brett Gardner at bats sponsored by Miracle Grow plant food.
-Jonathan Papelbon’s relief appearances at Yankee stadium sponsored by Summer’s Eve Disposable Douche
Krull movie Any others?
