According to Pete Abe, Mark Melancon and Dave Robertson have been promoted to the bigs, taking the roster spots of Brian Bruney and Chien-Ming Wang, who were placed on the DL. Melancon was not on the 40-man roster, but the Yankees DFA’d Humberto Sanchez to make space for Melancon. I’ll have more analysis later.

Can we please send Veras somewhere, how many walks doe he have to give up before the front office see that he is no good, Hopefully Robertson and Melancon are up here to stay

  2. Old Ranger says:

Robertson got treated like a redheaded………! Does that mean we give up on him also, what about Mo yesterday? Unless you are in the movies, everyone gets knocked around. The BP is wasted, they need a long rest.
Damn, only 18/19th game(?) and heads need to roll?!? Come on, show some support…check out the record last few years after 20 games!

  3. Kareem says:

Old Ranger, I am not talking about firing anyone, just doing something with Veras, do you really feel comfortable with him if he becomes the 8th inning guy till Bruney gets back?, I’m not worried about Robertson, rather he take his lumps with the the big club and not down in Scranton.
