Today, Bob Sheppard was on Ed Randall’s show on WFAN and he sounded great. He says that he’s “working on his stamina,” as he’ll attempt to make a grand return to the Yankees in a few months (it’ll be nice to hear him announce Mark Teixeira).

It’s good to hear he’s getting healthier. It was really sad hearing about his condition last year. Not to mention weird not hearing his voice at the stadium.
It was even stranger because the guy who took over, Hall, tried to imitate Shepard.
