Yankees Reach Free Agent Limit?
MLBTR doesn’t think so, but there seems to be some healthy debate over the issue. It doesn’t really have an impact on these Yankees, but theoretically could in the future.

It could make a difference this year, if they wanted to get Cruz on the cheap.
Agreed, Cruz seems worth taking a shot at. I love our pen, but you can never have enough bullpen depth.
I wrote about this at iYankees. Apparently, an agreement was reached so that teams could sign up to 8 Type A or B FA’s, due to the high number of free agents this year.
